Nelson Community Services (NCS) is currently recruiting for a Counselling & Family Services Program Manager. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and is a key member of the program leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling. An equivalent combination of a relevant undergraduate degree, training and experience may also be considered. Recent relevant experience in a management or supervisory role, together with a minimum of 4 years’ clinical work experience, ideally in a non-profit setting, is required.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to begin his/her role as soon as possible. Salary is commensurate with experience. This is a permanent .80 FTE position and comes with a full benefits package.

Job Summary: The incumbent in this position provides a variety of reception, clerical, administrative, executive support, and office management duties as well as coordinates the Agency’s Main Office fire safety and WorkSafe procedures. The incumbent is the first aid attendant for the Main Office worksite.
Office administration certificate or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
A minimum of two (2) years’ recent office administration experience that includes clerical and reception functions.
